What is a pet sitter?

Pet sitting is an alternative to a cattery so your pet can stay in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of home. Ensuring your cat has its own routine.

A pet sitter is someone who cares and supervises for your pet while you are away. Yes animals can get lonely and miss their owners this is where a pet sitter can spend one to one time with the cat giving it company (even if the cat is aloof it will know someone is there).

They should have first aid training, completed animal care courses and experience of being with animals.

We feed, clean and replenish food and water stations daily. Check litter trays, lift clumps, poop and clean when required. Administer medication if this is required.

Another plus for having a pet sitter is home security bringing post and parcels in, switch lights on/off, adjust blinds or curtains, take bins out and back in.
